ÄKTApilot chromatography system is a bench-top process development and production system based on the ÄKTAdesign platform. The broad dynamic capacity enables easy scale-up/down. The hygienic design, high level of automation, accuracy, reproducibility, and reliable operation makes this the prefect system for scale-up, process optimization, and production. This design gives a smooth path to cGMP workflow.

The capacity of the system makes it possible to purify from milligrams to tens of grams of product. The flow rate range is between 4-800 ml/min with a differentiated gradient capacity. The gradient capacity is 0-100 % between flow rates of 4 and 400 ml/min and gradually decreases to 50/50% at a flow rate of 800 ml/min. The maximum pressure resistance is 2 MPa to allow optimal use of modern chromatography media. The method wizard, together with a flexible system configuration, allows fast and easy purification or column packing. The system supports you in process development, scale-up/down, and pharmaceutical production. Preparation times are cut to a minimum whilst accuracy is maintained and reproducibility is assured.
